Telecontrol VII

Telecontrol VII was developed in 1996 and is still considered a state-of-the-art peoplemeter. Telecontrol VII is in use in Switzerland, Germany and in Puerto Rico and measures both analogue and digital TV.

Telecontrol VII is the first Telecontrol meter based on plug-in and injection technology as it is known. Since a TV set does not need to be opened to install the meter, it is well accepted by panellists.

This unit identifies the analogue TV channels using injection technology, which measures the TV station frequency via VPS/IDS16/TXT code or via frequency measurement using adapter technology. Digital TV channels are measured using a software solution.
